As a contributing author, I had the opportunity to write chapter 22, “Humans and Machines Together: Redefining Work in the Age of AI,” which focuses on a critical truth:
AI adoption is not just a technology decision. It is a leadership reckoning.
This book stands out because, as described in its Amazon overview, “Rather than focusing on hype or fear, this book delivers clarity and direction. It’s not about predicting the future, it’s about helping you participate in it.”
The future of work is not humans versus machines. It is humans working intentionally with machines.
This requires leaders to:
- Clarify what remains uniquely human
- Build AI fluency across their workforce
- Establish governance and trust from the start
- Anchor all AI efforts in purpose
My chapter explores how organizations can succeed by focusing on earning trust. To do so, human intelligence must redesign with AI to ensure meaningful work prevails and AI is used to improve humanity.
If your organization is navigating how to move from AI experimentation to trusted, scalable adoption, and you want to ensure both employees and customers feel the benefits, I welcome the conversation.
